My Spring Skincare/Hair Care Routine!

Well hello there! I had meant for this post to go live this past Monday, but when one of your dearest friends from California enlists your help so they can drop by New England to surprise their mom for Mother’s Day- one tends to get caught up in the specifics of the covert-level plan- as well as losing track of time to lots of nights out for dinner, drinks and driving around the Pioneer Valley with said dearest friend.

But I’ll recap my weekend/week in a few days once I’ve had a chance to go through my photos- because I definitely took a lot these past few days!

Before that, I wanted to share the newest additions to my skincare and hair care collection/routine- curated by yours truly given that it’s that time of year where my complexion and my curls go a little rogue as we transition out of the dry and frigid Winter days here in New England and head into a warmer and more humid climate over these next few months. I’m excited for the remainder of Spring and the beginnings of Summer- of course- but I want to make sure I’m looking and feeling my best for it, too!

Before I talk about the handful of new obsessions/lifesavers, however- I wanted to link to past collections for anyone who might be feeling curious!

In terms of my skincare, pretty much everything from my Winter collection has carried over into Spring of 2022 given how lightweight it is on my face, although I did add the ‘Honey Halo’ moisturizer from Farmacy into the mix. It plumps my skin and keeps it looking hydrated and dewy- which is a huge plus given that I’ve started wearing tinted moisturizers and light-coverage foundations/BB creams this season and want to look as natural-but-still-radiant as possible!

For my Spring hair care, some of you may recognize this shampoo/conditioner/oil collection since I had recently highlighted it in my April Favorites post– and for good reason! These products moisturize and enhance my curls without weighing them down or making them look greasy/oily. I towel/air dry my hair after each use and am left with bouncy and fresh spiral curls as opposed to frizzy or frazzled fly-aways!

And these products can withstand the windy May days and growing humidity here in Massachusetts- which is all I really need this time of year!

And there it is! My updated skincare/hair care collection for Spring 2022! Nothing too crazy, and everything reasonably priced given their quality of the formulas and the results I see with daily and consistent use!

Of course, everything gets changed up again in the Summertime- so we’ll check back in to see what I’m using in a couple of months.

And, as always- if you’d like to share some of your own favorite Spring skincare/hair care must-haves and finds- feel free to reach out or leave a comment!
