I hope you’ve all been having a spectacular and spooky October- and a great Fall overall so far! As I put together my Halloween costume and plan for some haunted hayrides and ghost tours with friends in the coming weeks ahead- it seemed like a good time to take a quick break and once again dip into my Autumnal makeup collection to share some of the recent additions to my routine as I wrap up my “quarterly cleanup”- and both throw out expired/empty products while re-stocking/trying new ones.
As is the case with every installment of these types of posts- this isn’t my entire makeup collection (not even close, really!)– but a snapshot into the products and finds I’ve been predominantly using throughout the season in conjunction with the usual staples I keep on hand like my foundation, finishing powder, mascara, etc., etc.
This Fall, I’ve been leaning towards more dramatic and seasonal-inspired eye and lip looks- while sticking to more cream-based formulas when it comes to contouring and highlighting my face for every day and evening wear. I’ll have swatches of all the products at the end of the post- and will link to collections from seasons and years’ past!

And now, without any further delay- let’s get right into it!

When it comes to my blush, highlighter and bronzer this season- I have been leaning towards the three C’s when seeking out a formula- creamy, compact and convenient. I had been seeking out a palette I could tuck safely in my purse for any and all occasions when I came across the Stack-The-Odds trio from allyoop. Super blend-able, flattering and loaded with hydrating ingredients like Jojoba and Sunflower Seed Oil- this twist and apply compact is small, discreet and perfect for both creating and maintaining my look throughout the day!
The trio comes in three other curated shades for different skin tones. I’ve been using the ‘Sassy Pants’ compact (for fair/light skin) and it’s been working absolute wonders in building a natural glow on my complexion and with cutting down on my “getting ready” time each and every morning- which is always a win!

I had talked about this Too Faced eyeshadow palette in my recent September “Favorite Things” post– but I’m excited to share some swatches for it here! With a mix of beautiful and pigmented metallic, glitter and matte-finishes, all with adorable names- these shadows apply smoothly and don’t crease, crumble or fade when used with a primer.
The palette itself is subtly scented like pumpkin pie- which always makes me smile when I reach for it- and I have been able to create so many stunning golden, orange and nude/neutral combinations for a variety of occasions these past few weeks.
And I know this will be great around the holidays, too!

For Fall-inspired lip looks this season, I also turned to Too Faced and their Melted Matte Liquid Lip in ‘PSL’. Scented like the beloved beverage and in fun, festive packaging- this quick-drying formula sets into place as a beautiful terracotta red that is gorgeous on any complexion. This is my go-to for the evenings and dressier Autumnal activities- although I fully admit to applying it at random just because it smells so good.

And for the days where I want a lightweight, subtle pop of color with some hydration- I use the Lumi-Balm Lip Tint by pinklipps in the shade ‘Fantasy’. This nude/light brown formula is surprisingly flattering and long-lasting- but it’s most important benefit is that it keeps my lips moisturized during a time of year when the crisper and colder weather can take a toll!
