A Month to Remember: November 2022

My goodness- where does the time go?! When I sat down to write this annual end-of-the-month recap, it suddenly hit me that we’re only a few weeks away from Christmas and New Years! It feels like it was only yesterday that I was passing out Halloween candy to Trick-or-Treaters and debating on what to bring to Thanksgiving dinner, and now here we are!

I have so many things planned for December- from a belated and long overdue ‘Friendsgiving’ this coming weekend, to visiting festive local attractions and participating in annual traditions I look forward to experiencing with friends and family each and every year- as well as enjoying some brand new traditions since I’ll have longtime friends and their families visiting next month!

And as excited as I am for all of it- I don’t want to skip right over November- since this was such a warm and cozy month filled with great memories and both local and extended travel, too!

I had started this past month with a quick recap of my Halloween night and by sharing my Fall skincare and hair care regimen since we’ve been all-in on the Autumnal weather here in New England as of late (including the first snow of the season a couple of weeks ago!)

During one of our sunnier and warmer weekends, I stopped by a hidden gem of a cider house not far from where I live just days before I made a quick and impromptu trip to Houston, Texas for a long weekend of great food, even better company, appreciating art and learning all about space exploration. I absolutely adore Texas, and I jump at any chance I get to go and see/experience more of it!

Once I was back home and on the ground in Massachusetts again, it was time to gear up and get ready for the holidays– including picking up some decorative supplies at one of the cutest roadside stops in Connecticut!

I rounded out the month with a wonderful Thanksgiving with my family– amid sharing some of my favorite outfits and recipes here on the blog like I normally do, of course- and now I’m bundled up at my desk and preparing for the hustle and bustle of the weeks ahead!

I’m going to have all sorts of fun things to share leading up to Christmas before it’s time to wind down and get reflective as I look back on 2022 in it’s entirety- but I’m going to enjoy these last hours of November, first! What a month to remember, indeed!
