Another day, and another month comes to a close. It’s hard to believe that March is over and we’re getting ready to dive into all things April within a few short hours- including Easter, more Spring-esque weather here in New England- and ongoing vaccination roll-out phases (depending on your state/region, of course. I’m still waiting patiently for my chance to get mine.)
March 2021 felt like it flew by- at least for me, anyway- although my spending a good portion of it on the opposite side of the country and in the desert has a way of warping my sense of time and space. I hit the ground running when I got home this past weekend, and I’ve been working, running errands, and catching up on pretty much everything non-stop ever since. This is the first time I’ve really had the opportunity to pause and reflect on these last few weeks- and what a few weeks they’ve been!
With the snow finally starting to melt around the Pioneer Valley, I was inspired to visit a couple of local attractions to get myself into more of a Spring state of mind- including a butterfly conservatory and one of the most unique outdoor art galleries/gardens around.
I was able to visit a long-time friend for the first time since the Fall and get my video gaming on, do some serious seasonal cleaning/reorganizing both in my apartment and here on the blog- and even had the chance to write about an incredible serum I’ve been using to make my eyes look a little bigger and brighter for these ongoing days of mandatory mask-wearing.
And of course, I spent a beautiful week in Las Vegas, Nevada to close out the last days of March- although my full recap (with photos) is going to be up in a couple of days since I’m still sorting through all the pictures and video I took during my stay. There’s a lot of them.
Overall, this month was busy for sure- but it was also filled with fun, friends, a little excitement- and new experiences in new places. For the first time in a long time, it felt like the days I’d been fortunate enough to have pre-pandemic- so I’m very, very grateful and looking forward to being able to have more of them in the future.
That being said, what do I have planned for April? More travel, of course- albeit a bit more local this time around, with different stops at some of my favorite hidden gems and restaurants throughout Massachusetts- as well as my usual recipe and OOTD posts and a peek inside my current Spring makeup routine (which has been heavily influenced by my time in, and love for- the Southwest.)
But before we begin a new chapter in April- here’s a toast to March- one of the better months I’ve had in recent memory.
And here’s hoping next month is just as good, if not better- for all of us!
