Although it may be difficult to find any upsides at all to COVID-19 and the subsequent quarantines/restrictions that have plagued us for just about a year now- being able to more easily stay on top of my apartment’s cleanliness and organization would surely have to be one of the somewhat good or positive things that are so far and few-between these days.
I’m very particular about keeping my space clean- especially when I spend 8+ hours a day here at any given time and am no longer commuting to/from my office or traveling as freely as I did pre-pandemic. Any unnecessary clutter makes me feel extremely claustrophobic or like I’m suffocating- so Spring cleaning is shaping up to be a breeze and very, very thorough this year. I’ve already compiled different stacks of clothing/shoes/accessories and knick-knacks to either donate or toss (depending on their condition and practicality) and am now in the process of moving around some of my furniture to give myself a much-needed change of scenery before I head to the West Coast for a few days at the end of next week.
I’ve also taken the opportunity to do some cleanup here on “Coffee & Chiffon” as well. I’ve gone through past posts and verified that all links and pages are in working order and that all of my media (photos/videos/etc.) are displaying correctly and properly. It’s something I try to do every few months but have admittedly fallen a little behind on!
And with the cleanup- I am also looking to “Spring Forward”- with the new season, with Daylight Savings Time- and with a possible upcoming giveaway! It’s something I’ve wanted to do since early 2020 but had been sitting on given the pandemic and strict regulations/guidelines. Now, with plenty of time having passed- I think I’m ready to put a little something together and I plan on announcing the details in the coming weeks ahead!
A little later on this week, I’m talking about an incredible eyelash serum from one of my favorite and most trusted cosmetics companies for anyone looking for a little Springtime boost before I share a seasonally-inspired pasta dish and prepare for my trip (and a little blogging break) next week- but you better believe I have plenty of content planned for when I return now that I have a little more space in my home to get things done!
