“Tidings of Comfort and Joy…”

As I sit here with my cup of coffee while listening to the sounds of the dreaded “bomb cyclone” make it’s way through New England (is that a freight train? Is that just wind? Did they just set off the tornado siren?) and prepare for a short day at my full-time job before we take a break at the office for the holiday- I wanted to wish everyone who celebrates a very merry Christmas this year!

Although there were a lot more festive outfits, recipes and locations in and around New England I had wanted to share before Christmas Day actually arrived- the flu going around my region has sort of delayed/stalled things while everyone collectively recovers and avoids large crowds as to not spread any germs. It’s a bit of a drag for sure- but I’m looking forward to trying again next year! It’s something to look forward to in December of 2023!

I had mentioned in my last post that next week is going to be a lot of reflective look backs on 2022- including a breakdown of my favorite photos I took this year and a deep-dive into the headlines, pop culture phenomenons and wild moments that made 2022 so memorable. It’s been crazy breaking it all down and recapping everything, especially since some of it feels like it happened ages ago- but it’s really fun at the same time!

And after the New Year, of course- I’ll be back to sharing food, fashion and my travels (which are being planned as we speak!)– which I’m very much looking forward to returning to!

But we gotta’ take it one thing at a time and make it through Christmas, first- and I’ve got a very busy 48 hours ahead of me to pull off the great gift delivery of 2022! You can follow along over on my INSTAGRAM– otherwise I’ll see you all again next week!

Have a safe, healthy and happy holiday this weekend, one and all! I hope you all have a beautiful couple of days ahead and that you’re able to make festive memories with people you love and cherish!
