Springtime Sweets: Nutella N’ Cookie Dough Air Fryer S’mores

Summer might not be arriving for another month or so, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy some warm weather-inspired treats while I gear up for long days at the beach, bonfires with friends, and coffee dates on the Cape. The quintessential Summertime dessert – for me, anyway – is a good, old fashioned s’more – although I always appreciate new and creative ways to make them.

I recently tried out the viral Nutella & cookie dough air fryer version I’ve seen floating around social media, which is like making a warm, gooey s’more cookie skillet in a matter of minutes – and it did not disappoint!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

PER 1 SERVING:

  • 1 slice of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 Keebler mini graham cracker pie crust
  • 1-2 tablespoons Nutella
  • 10-15 mini marshmallows
  • 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional)
  • Drizzle of chocolate syrup (optional)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

1. Fill the mini pie crust with Nutella and mini marshmallows. Top the pie crust with a slice of chocolate chip cookie dough and press gently along the edges to seal the dough to the edge of the crust.

2. Bake the pie in the air fryer at 350Β°F for 10 minutes, allowing 5 minutes to cool once finished.

3. After carefully removing the s’more from the air fryer, top with a scoop of ice cream and/or a drizzle of chocolate syrup and enjoy!

As weird as it sounds, I’d actually love to top one of these with chilled, sliced bananas or blueberries instead of more sweetness. I enjoy fruit with my desserts – especially during the Spring and Summer when they’re extra refreshing – and I think it’d be a great addition to something that is already so addictive! I could easily eat ten more of these!

I can’t wait to get more creative with this recipe as I make it more often in the coming weeks!
