I can’t think of a better way to haves started the month of April than this past weekend’s series of parties, laid-back get-togethers and time spent outdoors in the sunshine and warmer temperatures. Despite the occasional rain storm- a common occurrence this time of year in New England- I think it’s *maybe* okay to say that Spring has officially sprung.
On Saturday, after catching up on some errands and much-needed sleep following a pretty busy week, I headed back to my beloved Salem to celebrate the arrival of the season and watch some good, old fashioned soap opera-level theatrics and athleticism at my friend Phill’s annual ‘Wrestlemania’ viewing party. I’ve written about how much fun these parties are in the past- and how everyone comes up with the absolute best themed snacks ever- and Saturday night’s party was no exception.

I spent hours eating delicious food, catching up with friends and laughing so hard. The parties really are something I think everyone looks forward to throughout the year- and I’m excited for the next one that should be taking place later on in the Summertime.
On Sunday, after going to bed WAY too late and waking up WAY too early- it was off to Melrose for a more lazy day with Sean & Co. where our main focus was coffee and soaking up a little sunshine by way of a brief hike to an overlook of the skyline of nearby Boston. I can’t wait to get outdoors more in the coming weeks ahead since there are so many other trails in and around the area we like to check out!

But before I do that, I’ve got an Easter-inspired recipe to share a little later on this week, as well as a peek into my Springtime makeup collection- as is tradition!
Stay tuned!
