It really is the greatest time of the year here in New England- and I have been having a blast these past couple of weeks! Football is back (Go Bucs!), the leaves are just starting to change color a little bit- and it’s finally and consistently cool/comfortable outside! Although I still haven’t broken out my sweaters from storage just yet- I have a hoodie on standby and ready to go. It’s only a matter of time!
And in-between all the Autumnal activities I’ve talked about recently and working my usual schedule (I still have bills to pay, after all)– Troy is back in town for a couple of weeks for both his job and a bit of a side project- and it’s always fun to have him home for a while.
He’s predominantly out in the Berkshires this time around- where I had actually kicked off 2022 in very fancy style- so it’s been nice to head back out there to hang out and enjoy the scenery and really good food at places like BRAVA, The Olde Heritage Tavern and Shots Café.
We also had a chance to revisit an old haunt neither one of us had been to in quite some time in his former Northampton neighborhood- and meet up with a friend while we were there- The Brewery!
And next week is shaping up to be eventful and full of travel to new places I’ve never been before- namely some small towns in upstate New York. Troy’s job is sending him there for a few days and I’m tagging along to do some exploring while he’s working. I’m hoping to peep some foliage and maybe- maybe!– get to check out some spooky locations I’ve been researching leading up to the trip. We’ll see how it goes!
I’ve also got the cutest farm stand/shop I stumbled upon while en route to the Berkshires to share with you all next week. I’ve been going through the photos I took there and my heart is melting at how adorable it is!
But first- I’ve got to finish decorating my apartment for the season this weekend. I’ll have photos up soon!
