OOTD: Freshly Squeezed

Well hello there, everyone- and hello June! With Memorial Day Weekend done, a new month ahead of us and Summer unofficially underway- I thought now would be the perfect time to get back into my usual blogging business and talk about an adorable and seasonally appropriate mini dress I recently wore for a sunny and gorgeous day out and away in Saratoga Springs, New York.

This black and lemon-print dress from Nine Britton with simple spaghetti straps is super lightweight, flowy and has some stretch to it- which means it’s versatile and very, very comfortable. It’s also easy enough to dress up for more formal outings and occasions with the right pair of shoes and some jewelry, or it can be kept casual- which is exactly what I did while grabbing lunch with Dan at the Adelphi Hotel in downtown Saratoga Springs- an absolutely stunning building inside and out! I absolutely cannot wait to go back!

With some practical black sandals and a pop of yellow eyeshadow for those moments I wasn’t wearing sunglasses- I had so much fun in this dress- even in the moments I was having my very own “Seven Year Itch”, Marilyn Monroe moment when the wind picked up!

I’m going to have a full recap of my wild and magical Memorial Day Weekend up on the blog a little later on this week since I’m still going through the photos- but this dress played a big part in it and I’m looking forward to a Summer of wearing this everywhere I can!

I’m all about lemon-print anything and everything!
