I’ve been working a hybrid schedule at my job in recent months, with a couple of days spent in my office and the remainder of the work week spent at home- and while my days in the office consist of self-packed breakfasts and lunches to keep me fueled from one commute to the next- I try to treat myself a couple of times a week when I’m at my apartment and plenty of delicious restaurants, cafés and diners are within a short walking distance.
One of my favorites for quick and delicious Mexican food is Mesa Verde, located near Energy Park in my beloved Greenfield. Renowned for it’s extensive menu, brightly colored interior (including stained glass windows) and their huge burritos- Mesa Verde is one of my default go-tos when going out with friends or grabbing takeout to enjoy at home.
Earlier this week, wanting some carbs and a kick of spice- I grabbed a couple of favorites from the menu to bring home with me during my lunch break- the buffalo chicken quesadilla and a small bag of their warmed tortilla chips (with guacamole, of course!) As always, the staff were friendly and fast with getting me my order- and everything tasted delicious.

Mesa Verde has quickly become a must-visit spot for friends/family who stop by to see me from out of town, and I’m always happy to oblige their burrito and enchilada cravings. I’ll probably be back there next week!
