Although I am a lover of all things makeup and cosmetics- there has always been one beauty tool that has continually mystified me and alluded me in terms of being able to apply them properly and get them to look good on me. I’m talking of course about false eyelashes- which is something I have attempted numerous times over the years but have never been able to pull off successfully. They never apply evenly, or there’s glue everywhere by the time I’m done- or they slip off halfway through my day and leave me looking like I was still recovering from a bar crawl gone bad the night before.
I had all but given up on the idea that I could get false lashes to work for me and opted to apply a couple of extra coats of mascara, instead…

Wispy, lightweight- and with a clear band to ensure a seamless application- these fluttery and petal-soft lashes don’t weigh my eyes down and sit comfortably all day and well into the evening without needing to be adjusted or re-applied. They look and feel real- so I’m never left feeling self-conscious or constantly worried that they may be a little too much on my face.

And part of their success and longevity is due to Jolie Beauty’s “Lash Lock” glue- a clear and quick-drying formula that holds the lashes securely in place and doesn’t flake or get that uncomfortable, crunchy texture as it dries- which means there’s no irritation or messy residue even after I’ve taken the falsies off for the night. I can just remove the lashes gently and with no tugging required, set them aside for the next wear- wash my face- and I’m good to go!
Out of the four sets I have from Jolie Beauty- I have to say the “Lillie” set is my favorite. They make my eyes pop and are the perfect length and thickness to give me a full, larger-than-life appearance all on their own or paired with some of my subtle eyeshadow and liners.
