If there’s one thing I love during the Spring and Summer seasons, it’s a versatile and comfortable set that I can wear pretty much everywhere – to my office, during date night, out for dinner with friends, while grocery shopping, etc. When the temperatures start soaring and the humidity is at an all-time high, I try to prioritize comfort over style as much as I can – but I do love when I can have both at the same time and in equal measure!
This knitted two-piece short and button-up-top set from Pink Queen comes in a variety of colors (some of which I’ll probably stock up on soon since I just love these so much!) but I was immediately drawn to the coral/pink/pale yellow striped combination since it reminded me of rainbow sherbet and felt perfect for this time of year when I’m embracing all things bright and bold with both prints and accessories alike.
I recently wore this out while grabbing $1 oysters in Bernardston, Massachusetts – pairing it with a plain white tank under the knitted top so I could leave it (mostly) unbuttoned throughout the night, and my usual slip-on sandals for extra comfort.
This set is stretchy, comfortably moves with you during your day/night, is unbelievably soft to the touch and is so eye-catching and fun with it’s vibrantly colored stripes. It’s also very affordable given the quality of the material and the careful way it’s stitched – which is just as important as how nice it feels and how good it looks, really!
I’m so looking forward to bringing this outfit with me when I head down to North Carolina in the next few days since I have a long overdue day by the pool calling out to me – and this ensemble is going to be perfect for it!
