A Month to Remember: February 2025

And just like that – we’ve reached the end of another month, and it’s time to start updating my planner and calendars for March! While I’ve got so much lined up in the next few weeks and plenty to talk about and share – I want to take a few minutes to give a tip of the hat and a proper summary for this past month that was, because February was truly a celebration of all things love, family and friendship!

While I had started the month off preparing for the Super Bowl and sharing a game day recipe Stef had provided during our most recent season of our podcast, I’d also managed to take some time to have a really fun, really rainy night out in Boston – where I participated in a fun and informative historic (and haunted!) tour with Dan!

I wrote about my current skin/hair care routine that has been getting me through non-stop snow and ice storms here in New England, put on a little red number to lean into the mood for Valentine’s Day, and visited one of the cutest chocolate shops in my area who were just as excited for the holiday as I was!

This month saw me “Escaping The Northeast” in more ways than one – first with a visit to one of my favorite annual events at one of my favorite Easthampton bars, and then with an actual trip to North Carolina at the end of February to visit Andrew and the kids, both to celebrate Andrew’s birthday and to mark five years since we’d lost Kelsey. It’s hard to believe we’ve made it through those years without her – but her family is a beloved reminder that her spirit lives on and will never be forgotten.

I got back into New England a couple of days ago, and not much as changed weather-wise. We’re still getting snow, and I’m still making the best of it while I wait for warmer weather to make it’s grand entrance!

And now, just as I’ve finished unpacking, March is at the door! So, what do I have planned for the weeks ahead? More outfit inspiration posts and recipes, of course – for sure – but I’ve got some more travel planned, too – including a visit to the Canadian border within the next few days and another possible trip to Las Vegas planned (pending further information from Troy!)

There’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities to look forward to, get-togethers with friends and loved ones for dinners and parties (including a couple this weekend!) and the official beginning of Spring! I’m so excited!

So here’s to February – short, sweet and full of cherished memories and moments – and to a beautiful month ahead for all of us. I know I’m ready to thaw out and have some more adventures!
