A New England Summer Giveaway!

I’ve been talking about doing this since I reached 500 posts here at ‘Coffee & Chiffon’ last month, and because it’s been a minute or two since I’ve had any type of giveaway/contest (I love being able to host them!)– but with work, travel, and Summertime plans being essentially non-stop over these last few weeks- putting together the prizes and establishing the guidelines for this seasonally and regionally-inspired collection got a little tricky!

But with Summer underway and June winding down- now seemed like the perfect time to host a New England-themed Summertime giveaway! I’m a lifelong Northeast girl, and this time of year I am all about days at the beach and finding the best seafood- and I wanted to bring some of our nautical flair and coastal charm to this assortment of items that range from accessories, home décor, stationary, books and a few extra surprises and customizations once a winner is randomly selected.

So before I get into how you can enter this giveaway (and it’s super easy- I promise!) let’s take a look at what’s included!

Homesick Candles are some of my favorite things to gift friends and loved ones, especially those who travel and fall in love with different places as much as I do. Their soy candles are designed to remind people of certain cities, states, regions and specific locations and they’ve done such an amazing job at perfecting so many unique and fascinatingly accurate fragrances!

This candle in particular, ‘Beach Cottage’, smells like days/evenings spent seaside in New Hampshire- with notes of sandalwood and bergamot. It’s one I always keep in my apartment this time of year and visitors always love it!

Call me old fashioned, but I still love sending and receiving cards/letters/postcards. There’s something special about opening your mailbox and seeing pretty much anything that isn’t a bill or a flyer in there. I’d like to think I’m not alone in my enthusiasm in utilizing pretty stationary rather than just collecting it and forgetting about it in a drawer somewhere- which is why I included this set of 10 blank, pressed notecards from Graphique.

With an embossed and embellished gold foil anchor on the front, you can use these cards for anything- from thank you’s, to invites to backyard BBQs and cookouts to simply saying hello to anyone you’re thinking about. Speaking of anchors, when it comes to dainty but high-quality and affordable jewelry that gives back to charities and communities- I’m in love with the good folks over at Pura Vida. I’ve amassed quite a collection of their bracelets and stackable rings over the years (which still hold up even with daily wear!) and knew that I absolutely wanted to include them in this giveaway to share the love.

And although their selection is expansive- I knew this navy and gold anchor bracelet would be perfect for a New England/Northeastern-themed prize pack. This one is adjustable and matches pretty much everything!

Given how often I talk about seafood in the Summertime, what would this giveaway be without a cookbook for any kitchen adventurers to read and try out? This book in particular is one of the best, since it was written by the minds behind the Eventide Oyster Company in Maine- and who knows seafood better than Maine?

‘Eventide’ features a ton of great recipes, stories, history and tips and tricks to help you whip up some of the freshest and most creative seafood dishes and sweets from the comfort of your own kitchen!

One of my favorite Summertime traditions is being able to sit on the porch outside of a rented seaside room/cottage, listen to the waves crash, throw a blanket over my lap when the evening ocean breeze rolls in- and read a book or enjoy a drink with good company. I encourage everyone to experience it at least once in their lifetime- and I’m providing the blanket!
