With Dan still in Arizona for the next few days and my being too eager to share my new favorite top to wait for him to get back to take much nicer and infinitely more professional photos of yours truly, I went old school earlier this week and snapped some phone selfies of a cowgirl-inspired sweatshirt I spotted during a recent outing to 25 Central (which I wrote about a few weeks ago!)
This olive green, long-sleeved and fleece-lined pullover from Gilli Clothing is one of the softest and coziest of casual tops I’ve come across lately- which is perfect during the colder months when layered over thermal shirts or lighter/thinner sweaters, or all on it’s own as we begin to transition into the Spring in a few more weeks.
And of course, as a lover of the fun style that comes with “Cowgirl Culture,” the ‘Howdy’ on the front (with the lettering designed to look like a lasso/rope!) adds a super cute touch to this one. I’ve been wearing it a lot lately paired with leggings and sneakers around my apartment, or with jeans and my green cowboy boots- how appropriate!- when I’m out and about.
I’m hoping I can start phasing in my Springtime wardrobe soon, since I have so many knee-length or maxi skirts and nice sandals I could wear this top with, too.
,,, But more than anything I hope Dan gets back soon so he can take better pictures than I can of everything in my closet!
