A Month to Remember: October 2025

Happy Friday, but most importantly, Happy Halloween, everyone! While I am so excited that we’ve reached one of my favorite holidays of the year, part of me is also a little sad that this month is coming to a close – especially because this October in particular was filled to the brim with travel, adventures, and so much fun time with my friends and loved ones where plenty of wonderful memories were made. Can we just extend spooky season for an extra few days… Or an extra couple of weeks?

Before we head into November and start gearing up for the 2025 holiday season, I wanted to take some time to look back on October in it’s entirety and revisit everything I did as a way to give this most beloved month a proper send-off.

I had started this month in true “Halloween Queen” fashion by visiting a local and legendary haunted spot when I stopped by the Lizzie Borden House in Fall River, Massachusetts for a quick tour and a look around the neighborhood and nearby cemetery. Thankfully, I wasn’t possessed by any spirits during my stay, and was able to share my current makeup collection for the Fall season just a couple of days later.

Right before we started getting true October weather and temperatures here in New England, I headed to Newport, Rhode Island to take in some of the Fall décor and do a little shopping at a New England-inspired boutique where I picked up a pair of pants I’ve been wearing all throughout the month.

I visited New York City for the first time in forever to try some luxury coffee and check out a haunted pub before I immediately drove to-and-from Ohio to see Andrew and the kids and to celebrate Archer’s birthday party (and check out a popular deli!) – and then rejoined my girlfriends for an Autumnal day completing a corn maze and carving pumpkins a little closer to home.

Stef and I were able to catch the last year of Old Sturbridge Village’s “Phantoms By Firelight” Halloween event which was an absolute blast, and and then I started winding down the month by stocking up on some spooky sweets and plenty of candy for tonight’s Trick-Or-Treaters!

And now here we are – just hours away from passing out candy to the kids and watching the last of the horror movies I’ve queued up to close out this month – but I’m just so grateful for how much fun I’ve had over these past few weeks, even if it felt oh-so-busy at times!

And with November pretty much here, it’s time to look forward to what I have planned – including celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday, traveling to North Carolina for a few days, and getting ready for Thanksgiving with another quick stop in upstate New York. That’s all while sharing recipes and more seasonal outfits, of course!

So here’s to October 2025 – one of the best I’ve ever had – and to the hope that November is just as exciting and also spent in the company of the people I love the most as we start to transition into the most magical season of them all.

See you all next week! Have a great (and safe!) Halloween out there!
