At the time this post goes live, I’ll be just touching down in Milan to meet up with Troy and officially begin a 12-day vacation in Northern Italy! I’ve been so excited for this trip since we first began the preliminary planning back in February, and it wasn’t until this past weekend when I was finalizing the packing of my suitcase that it hit me that it was really happening. It feels like a dream, and I have to keep pinching myself!
While I’m hoping to resume my normal blogging routine next week so I can share all of the scenery, the adventures in and around ancient and historic places, my fashion fits, and definitely the food as it happens – I know I’m going to need the next few days to get acclimated to the time zone difference and significant change in my schedule – so I’m going to be taking the remainder of this week off from updating ‘Coffee & Chiffon‘ like I normally do!
You can still follow along with my journey over on MY INSTAGRAM, though – since I’ll be updating that regularly with plenty of photos and videos from what I’m certain is going to be an absolutely beautiful and epic journey!
