A Month to Remember: March 2025

Oh March – what an exciting and adventurous month you’ve been – and how perfectly paced you’ve felt! As the last remnants of Winter slowly melts away and makes room for Spring blossoms and blooms, I’ve had so much fun these past few weeks – filled with travel, great food, and lots of time with my friends and family.

I had kicked off this month celebrating all things maple and sugar during the beginnings of the much beloved Maple Season here in Western Massachusetts before turning my attention (and direction!) to the North where I headed up to the Canadian border for both my Global Entry interview and to get some poutine fries from a locally-loved tavern. I adore Canada and my friends across what is such a beautiful country – and I hope I get to visit again soon and spend much more time there the next time around!

March marked the one year anniversary of my boyfriend winning his defamation trial against the woman who attempted to ruin his life and reputation, and I wrote a follow-up to how our lives and court proceedings have looked like since then. It’s still very much an ongoing journey – but the healing process has started – and for that, I’m truly grateful.

I was able to catch Smith College’s annual bulb show at their Botanical Garden this month, watch a back-to-back cult classic movie screening at a live version of The Last Drive-In, and celebrate Saint Danny’s Day in typical, tropical fashion when his family came to town, too!

I began my annual Spring Cleaning sessions, enjoyed pop-ups at my favorite eateries, and finally got around to talking more in-depth about one of my favorite coffee shops in Northampton – just as the month was starting to wind down.

And of course, I shared some recipes and outfits, too! That’s a given here on ‘Coffee & Chiffon‘!

And with April just a few short hours away, some of you may be wondering what I’ve got planned for next month – and it’s a lot! There’s a series of one-right-after-another birthday celebrations, elaborate floral displays to stroll through, high tea at a beautiful Boston location in the books, a visit from Troy just in time for Easter – and so much more as I make my final preparations for my trip to Italy at the beginning of May!

I’m so excited to write about and share all of it, of course – but I want to make sure I’m giving March a proper send-off, first. It was a wonderful month where so much was accomplished – and I am toasting to an equally fun, exciting, and productive April, as well.

See you all then!
