Local Loves: T.P. Saddleblanket

I’ve considered myself fortunate in that so many different styles and aesthetics both fascinate and delight me. I’m in love with Southern California surfer chic clothing and accessories this time of year, but I’m also a big fan of Classic Hollywood and pin-up glamour. I have so many 60s and 70s-inspired pieces in my closet, but sometimes nothing beats some simple jeans, t-shirts and sneakers when I go out.

Having what I regard as a vast and expansive sense of style means I get to put together some really great outfits in my day-to-day life- and I’m always on the lookout for stores and shops that offer great clothing, shoes, and/or accessories where I can update and refresh my wardrobe from time to time depending on how I’m feeling and what inspiration I want to channel.

And so I was recently introduced to T.P Saddleblanket in Great Barrington, Massachusetts by Dan and his parents during a lunch outing we’d all had together since they know my love of all things Southwestern and cowgirl-themed!

I immediately exclaimed “oh my gosh!” upon entering the boutique for the very first time- which consists of two floors of the most gorgeous clothes, boots, jewelry, home décor, etc., all with that “Wild West” vibe that I absolutely adore. I could easily spend hours in this shop just browsing.

Every square inch of this store is so meticulously and carefully curated, they have such a wide selection of unique and expertly crafted items, the staff is super friendly and helpful- and the beautifully decorated storefront is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Great Barrington within steps of surrounding restaurants, cafés. shops, and photogenic points of interest.

I’ve since been back a few more times, buying great tops and an absolutely gorgeous floor-length dress that I’m sure will appear in an “Outfit of The Day” post at some point this year.

And there’s a pair of cowgirl boots I’ve been eyeing, too! Maybe next time!
