It is absolutely Aries season, and so many people I know are celebrating birthdays right now! Yesterday was my dear friend and podcast co-host, Stef’s, birthday- which will be acknowledged and honored at a get-together at her farm this coming weekend since we saw some significant snowfall/sleet throughout this week that caused serious delays with pretty much anything while we waited for the roads to be cleared.
And today is lovely little Haven’s seventh birthday! She has a box full of Taylor Swift goodies en route to Maryland as we speak- also delayed because of the snow- but I’m so excited for it to be delivered!
Earlier this week, after work and pre-sleetpocalypse- I met up with Dan to commemorate his own special day with dinner and drinks at HighBrow in Northampton. It’s been a minute since I’ve stopped by their establishment, but it’s just as good as the last time I’d been there. Their buffalo wings are hands down the best in the Pioneer Valley- so we made sure to load up on those before margaritas and our entrées.
Afterwards, with it being warmer out than expected, we walked over to Tunnel Bar for one last drink before it was time to head home and get ready for work the next day. I’m not a big vodka martini girl by any means, but they have some pretty impressive cocktails (and mocktails, too!) that are scattered throughout the menu.
Overall, it was such a chill and laid-back evening, and I hope Dan enjoyed himself!
Despite the recent surprise snowstorm that hit us head-on, I’m hoping to participate in some Springtime activities this coming weekend- including checking out a city-wide Flower Festival in Rhode Island and trying a new seasonal breakfast recipe I’ve been eyeing that looks delicious!
I’m going to manifest Spring and no one can stop me!
