Local Loves: Blooming Table Events

Everyone who knows me well knows that I love a good party, and when asked to plan one or assist in the planning of one- be it for a birthday, bachelorette party, Halloween, etc.- I take it very seriously. It may be because of my somewhat meticulous nature and peculiar eye for detail, but I really enjoy finding the right décor, the right food and the right venue to make wonderful memories for my family and friends for any and all of their special occasions.

However, I also work full-time (and that doesn’t include any of my side gigs I have going on at any given time!) so sometimes it’s nice to be able to outsource certain tasks to a trusted company that shares a similar vision and aesthetic and who go above and beyond in creating a beautiful atmosphere that people will remember forever.

So this weekend, while out at Black Birch Vineyard in Hatfield, Massachusetts with Dan since he was on an assignment for the newspaper he works for (and where I had an early afternoon glass of a delicious Rosé!) I was introduced to an absolute treasure of a local party/event-planning company- Blooming Table Events– who were having their launch party at the winery while we were there.

Owned by Angie and Libby (who were such an absolute joy!) Blooming Table Events provide whimsical, stunning and eco-friendly setups for small gatherings like picnics, tea parties, birthdays and garden soirées. Their décor is like something right out of a fairy tale- complete with fresh flowers, lace, delicate fabrics and delicious snacks that are decorated and displayed beautifully.

During their launch at Black Birch, they had a ‘Flower Bar’ where visitors could select a vase and fill it to their heart’s content with a wide variety of freshly-cut wildflowers to take home with them. Dan helped me select some flowers he knew his mom would like since we were meeting up with his family for lunch later on in the day in Stockbridge and I wanted to bring a gift- and it came out so lovely! It was such a unique idea and everyone who visited- adults and kids alike- loved it!

They have a great selection of packages you can choose from at their website (and a detailed FAQ in case there are any questions about any of their services!) and I will absolutely be reaching out to them when I plan what will be a long overdue “Girls Picnic”/tea hour with some of my favorite ladies!

I know they’d love everything just as much as I did!
