When it’s beautiful outside, you’re halfway to being fully vaccinated- and you have a free Saturday in the Pioneer Valley- the obvious thing to do would be to go on a bit of an outdoor dining food tour to some of your favorite restaurants, hole-in-the-wall spots and food trucks around Western Massachusetts. That’s exactly what I did this past weekend, and although I’m going to share what that tour consisted of within this week- I wanted to talk about what I chose to wear for the occasion, first.
Given the sunny skies and slowly-getting-warmer temperatures we had here to kick off the beginning of May- I opted for this short-sleeved, form-flattering, blue and floral wrap knit dress from Kaela Faux. Super soft, easy to accessorize, and just the right amount of “flowy” to make the fit extra feminine and pretty on any frame- this dress is perfect for casual days off or for fancier Springtime events like afternoon weddings, graduations, etc.
Given that I was keeping it simple when I wore this over the weekend, I made sure to have a cream-colored cardigan on standby in case it started getting chilly out again- and I wore my trusted pair of wedge sandals for a little bit of a height boost while out and about throughout the Valley.

Be warned, however- this dress gets a ton of attention and compliments, Be it because of it’s perfect-for-the-season color/pattern or the way it fits so perfectly- but it’s a head-turner piece for sure. I felt absolutely beautiful in it, and I’m looking forward to wearing it more throughout the remainder of Spring and the Summer- especially when things start opening back up!
