OOTD: Out Like a Lamb…

I haven’t started the process of swapping out my sweaters, jackets and boots in exchange for my sundresses, shorts or sandals just yet – and may not do so until we reach May given the unpredictability of the weather and temperatures as of late – but I have kept a few transitional pieces on hand and in my closet for the days that aren’t quite freezing, but aren’t quite super warm, either.

This sweater dress by MINSURE (via Amazon) is one of those pieces. While this dress comes in a variety of neutral and dark-hued colors, the beige one is my favorite to wear in the Springtime. The top part of the dress is a long-sleeved and buttery soft cable knit sweater, and the bottom part is a flowy A-line skirt that hits above the knee with a silky lining that keeps it from being see-through.

While I can wear this one to work, when going out with friends or on a date with my boyfriend since it’s pretty versatile and can be dressed up or down with the right jewelry or pair of shoes, I recently wore it while running errands on a warm-but-not-quite-warm-enough day last week in Deerfield. I paired it with my knee high brown boots, although I have a pair of wedge sandals I’m looking forward to wearing with this one before I have to pack it up with the rest of my Winter clothing!

And of course, because I was in Deerfield, it didn’t take long for me to make friends with some farm animals in the area while walking around. Cutest photo partner ever, I would say!

I’m excited to share more of my Winter-to-Spring ensembles as we begin to head into April since not all of them are sweaters/sweater variations – and you know I’ve got some pastels and florals in the lineup, too!
