Springtime Scheduling…

Happy Friday and First Day of Spring, everyone! Although the current weather outside my bedroom windows isn’t exactly screaming “time for shorts and sundresses!” to me right now, you can definitely tell the season is trying to push it’s way past Winter and stay a while, which is always appreciated. I’m just keeping my sweaters and boots on stand-by until then.

I’ve been in the process of getting my schedule back on track in recent days. With my boyfriend staying here at my apartment with me for a couple of weeks now, and with the bulk of our free time outside of work spent helping out his family and traveling in and around every corner of Massachusetts while doing so, both my eating and sleeping schedule has been turned a little upside down with all the driving and socializing. I don’t mind, of course – because I love our road trips, going to our favorite restaurants and staying up late to watch usually-bad action movies together (I’m so looking forward to our upcoming viewing of ‘Samurai Cop’!)

But my brain and my body are a little confused as to why I’ve been skipping the gym and why I’m eating cookies at midnight, so I’m spending the next few days getting myself regulated again now that we’ve finished up the bulk of the work that needed to be done at my boyfriend’s childhood home and with his relatives out in the Berkshires. It’s been a lot of work, but it’s been very productive and rewarding.

With some warmer temperatures on the way, I’m looking forward to being active outdoors and to doing some meal prep since next week is looking to be a pretty busy one at my job and with plans I have lined up with both friends and family as we start getting closer and closer to Easter. I’m also getting back into my usual blogging schedule again, and I’ll be back to sharing some outfits, some recipes, and some of my “Favorite Things” next week as we begin to wind down the month of March! (and I’m very thankful to Troy for keeping me on track, motivating me, and offering to help with all my side projects!)

Of course, I’m sure he and I will have some adventures this coming weekend that I’ll be writing about in the days ahead – so until then – enjoy this official beginning of Spring, wherever you are!

See you all next week!
