A Month to Remember: April 2025

Now that we’re in the final hours of April, and with May knocking at the door and looking to make a grand entrance, it’s about that time where I pause, practice gratitude, and give both a proper summary and loving send-off to the month that was – and what an extraordinary month April 2025 was, indeed!

I had kicked off this month with a long-overdue fondue party with my family as a precursor of the many parties to come – specifically birthday parties! – which included stops in Keene, New Hampshire and around Connecticut as I celebrated some of my dearest friends’ special days just as the trees and flowers were finally starting to bloom around New England.

I shared my current Spring makeup collection, some recipes – and also some of my favorite ensembles! – before I made my way down to Newport, Rhode Island to try a gourmet hot dog and take in the view of thousands of daffodils planted around town for their annual “Daffodil Days” celebration!

And I was so thrilled to have Troy visit for Easter so we could spend some time around Stockbridge before we took the opportunity to hang out with my family for the holiday, which is always a blast. He’s currently on his way to Europe for a work conference, and I’ll be joining him next week!

In a couple of days I’m also going to be sharing a recap and some photos from one final outing I coordinated this month that was such a gorgeous and special experience for myself and my mother.

So, what’s going on in May, exactly? Well, other than my upcoming vacation in Northern Italy – I’ll be gearing up for festival season, Memorial Day weekend, and the (unofficial) beginning of East Coast Summer with more recipes, outfit posts, and days spent in some of my favorite spots by the ocean that are opening back up in the next few weeks.

I’m so excited for all of it that I feel like I could burst!

So thank you, April – for giving me the start of a beautiful Spring/Summer season, for allowing me the time I got to spend with my closest friends and loved ones, and for giving me a chance to get organized for international travel – something I’ve been wanting to do for such a very, very long time. I hope May is just as lovely, peaceful, and full of the happiest of moments and memories for each and everyone one of us.

I’ll see you all again on Friday!
