As we wind down these last few days of March and I prepare for a very busy few weeks ahead (including many of my loved ones’ birthdays back-to-back, Easter, a mid-month visit from Troy, and some last minute international travel to-dos I have to take care of before the beginning of May!) I wanted to pause and reflect on some of my favorite finds, purchases/splurges and miscellaneous odds and ends from this past month! That’s right – it’s time for a Friday morning edition of my monthly “Favorite Things” roundup!
I’ll have my full recap of the month of March in it’s entirety up on ‘Coffee & Chiffon‘ bright and early next Monday – and there’s a lot to go over, for sure! – but this is always one of end-of-the-month posts I look forward to putting together the most.
As always, the things I could photograph will be shared first, followed by a little breakdown of some of the other things that are harder to capture on camera (like music, movies, etc.) Feel free to weigh in with your own favorites from this month, too! Drop me a line, send me an e-mail, or leave a comment if you feel so inclined.
Let’s get right into it!

I will stop including Native products when they stop doing fun collaborations and stop making products that smell absolutely amazing – and as both a coffee lover and a New England Girly – it took everything in me not to just feature their entire line of limited edition products from their recent team-up with Dunkin’ Donuts in this post.
When I had to restock on some shampoo and conditioner earlier this month, and saw that their collaboration included a Boston Cream Pie Donut fragrance (my absolute favorite for a cheat day treat!) – I stocked up. Not only is this shampoo super hydrating for my curls, but the scent is spot-on. My hair smells like a fresh batch of the best doughnuts ever, and I am completely obsessed!

I really do have a strange fascination for products that smell/taste like some of my all-time favorite desserts, in case that wasn’t clear. Also purchased earlier this month was this lip sugar scrub from Hard Candy, who have collaborated with the Girl Scouts to put out some shadow palettes, lip oils/glosses and accessories inspired by their beloved cookies.
This scrub in particular, which I slather on to exfoliate my lips before I apply lipstick in the morning and then again at bed time to keep them soft and smooth overnight – both smells and tastes like a Thin Mint cookie – which is my second favorite one behind Tagalongs (more brands need to lean into the chocolate & peanut butter combinations, by the way!)
This is another March obsession I should stock up on before it’s discontinued!

I’ve been in the market for a quality sleep mask for a while now, preferably one with some weight and options to block out noise, as well (I live in a downtown area that can get a little rowdy on certain nights or during certain occasions!) and the algorithm must have decided enough was enough and I needed to pick one – because I was almost immediately being shown targeted ads for Drowsy’s super soft, high quality eye masks.
I fell especially hard for this ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’-inspired one, that cushions my eye area but also covers my ears – guaranteeing me a night of blissful, undisturbed rest. I’ve been using this one throughout the month and I can confirm I don’t wake up nearly as often as I usually do during the night – and my eyes look brighter and more vibrant in the mornings, too!
And of course, the design is adorable. Also a huge plus in my book!

And finally, the cat is pretty much out of the bag now if you’ve looked at my social media in recent weeks, but I can now confirm here on my blog, as well – but I’m going to Italy in May! I’ll be gone for a couple of weeks, and am doing my best to learn and retain as much Italian as I can so that I can get by while respecting the locals and the culture. These books have been super helpful in teaching me pronunciations and formalities so that I’m not a helpless tourist – and I read a little more of each every night.
There are great exercises in each lesson to remind me of what I’ve learned so far, and each book has an easy-to-understand guide in case I need to reference a specific word/phrase right away. I’ll likely be bringing these in my carry-on during my trip, just in case – but I’m feeling more and more confident with each passing day!
__________
That’s all I have for favorites this time around – but I’m quite content with this month’s selection of items. I’ll have another roundup at the end of April – and am excited to see what makes the list by then!
Have a great weekend, everybody!
