Despite the fact that it looks like we have some snow on the forecast in the coming days ahead, it’s now officially Spring as of yesterday, and I am more than ready for the season! While I’ve got some sweaters and jackets on stand-by since March and April are almost always unpredictable here in New England – I’m also gradually unpacking my collection of dresses, short-sleeved blouses, sandals and sunglasses with the most cautious optimism.
I’ve cleared my schedule for most of this coming weekend in-between brunch plans and a mini road trip with my family I’ve got lined up to begin the process of giving my apartment, car, closet and office space a much-needed overhaul and Spring cleaning session. That includes putting together clothes for donation, scrubbing and sanitizing all surfaces, refreshing my décor and organizing spaces that have become a little cluttered over the Winter.
I’m excited, since I find “seasonal remodeling” (as I like to call it!) leaves me feeling relaxed and accomplished each and every time I do it.
I’ll also be doing some “Spring Cleaning” here on Coffee & Chiffon, as well – making sure all of the media and links I’ve shared in recent weeks/months are still working correctly and tweaking the design just a little bit in light of the new season. It shouldn’t cause anything to not load properly or crash – but just in case there are any hiccups – they’ll be fixed right away!
Next week, I’ll be back to blogging regularly with another installment of “Local Loves”, a peek at the more exciting parts of my upcoming weekend (that didn’t revolve around cleaning!) and my monthly installment of my “Favorite Things” from March before we begin to wind down the month in preparation for April. There’s so much to look forward to!
