Before we head into another snowy weekend here in New England, and before I start getting into all things love and romance just in time for Valentine’s Day next week – I wanted to take the time to talk about my current skin and hair care obsessions from this season. I’ve been getting a lot of compliments recently from friends, family, co-workers, etc., about how my skin looks glowing and how my curls look defined and frizz-free – which is no easy feat when it is bone dry and frigid outside or when heaters are set at high and on full-blast everywhere I go.
And while a big part of my triumph over the merciless Northeastern Winter conditions involves drinking a lot of water and staying diligent with my vitamins and supplements – selecting good quality products for daily/weekly use also makes a huge difference! In this post, I want to showcase what I’ve been using since the holiday season started near the end of 2024, and provide links and prices for anyone who may want to check these out for themselves, too!
I’ve also linked to past collections/regimens I’ve written about, in case anyone wants to revisit a certain season or products!

For my skincare this season, I wanted to turn my attention to products and devices that were specifically designed to brighten, gently exfoliate, and provide some deep hydration in areas where I may otherwise have looked and felt a little patchy or dried-out throughout the day.
They include a bit of a splurge for collagen-infused daily moisturizers, exfoliating skin pads and a minty masks to rid myself of the dulling dirt, oils and pollution I encounter throughout my week, as well as a plant-based eye cream that brightens and conditions – and a new face “spatula” I’ve been using to massage my face at night to not only increase circulation, but to help my moisturizers and serums sink in a whole lot deeper and faster!
- Weekly Face Mask: FENTY Beauty Cookies N’ Clean Whipped Clay Pore Detox [ $37 – MORE INFO ]
- Exfoliating Skin Pads: LAUREN’S Beauty Brightening Pads [ $38 – MORE INFO ]
- Daily Moisturizer: Dermalactives Triple Power Collagen Moisturizer [ $145 – MORE INFO ]
- Anti-Aging Eye Cream – Goldfaden, MD Plant Profusion Eye Cream [ $145 – MORE INFO ]
- Daily Massager/Facial Spatula: SKININC Flash Facial [ $95 – MORE INFO ]

For my hair care this season, I kept it simple – relying on a good weekly scalp treatment and a deeply conditioning mask to make sure my curls fell in line despite the weather and my shoving them into knitted or wool hats every other day when I braved the temperatures outside.
My hair used to get notoriously dry, frizzy, full of static and unmanageable throughout the Winter months – but over the years I’ve been able to combat it successfully (and here’s a recent, great article about ways to get frizz/static under control if you’re having the same issue!) by staying hydrated, not over-washing, and enjoying my weekly at-home-spa treatments – with products like the ones noted below!
- Scalp Treatment: Saturday Skin Peptide Care [ $19 – MORE INFO ]
- Weekly Conditioning Mask: VERB Ghost Mask [ $22 – MORE INFO ]
And there we are! Another season shared! I know a couple of the products listed are a bit on the pricier side, purchased during one of my “treat yourself” moods that strike every so often, but when used sparingly – a little goes a long way and I have definitely been getting my money’s worth!
If you’d like to share your own Winter regimen with me or provide some of your own product recommendations/alternatives to the ones I listed above, feel free to leave a comment or drop me a line!
And enjoy your weekend!
