OOTD: Bedtime Florals

I had said that I intended to focus on self-care and getting back into my health and fitness regimen in April after how busy and, at times, high-stress this past March had been. That included eating normally again, exercising regularly, and getting an appropriate amount of sleep so that I’m not left feeling exhausted or sluggish by the end of each day. Not as easy as it may sound given how upside down my world had been turned in recent weeks!

But Winter and Spring are still duking it out to see who will reign supreme this month, maybe even into May knowing how New England can be, so it’s been a slow and steady transition into any kind of routine given some days are filled with warmth and sunshine, and others are filled with snow and freezing rain.

So on the nights when I’m trying to get a solid eight hours of rest, I want to sleep in something that is comfortable and breathable that won’t make me sweat when I have the heat on, but also won’t make me feel like I’m suffocating in layers if I have to pull a blanket over me when there’s a chill.

And bonus points if it’s cute, too!

It’s been a while since I shared some sleepwear, but this two-piece floral and lace pajama set from Seeing Stars is buttery soft, has adjustable straps and helps me feel like it’s actually Springtime for real whenever I wear it. Even when I’m not in bed, this has become one of my favorite sets to lounge around in when I’m catching up on e-mails or some of my reality TV guilty pleasures on the days/nights when it’s snowing and the roads are too treacherous to brave the gym.

And the only thing I accessorize this set with are my fuzzy slides I had shared back in January, and a squishy PEEP plush I had got for Easter! No jewelry or handbags necessary!

Now I’m on the hunt for more sets like this to get me through all the way through the Summertime, too. The brighter and more colorful, the better!
