Although I’ve been slowly but surely beginning the process of packing up my Fall/Winter wardrobe to put away in storage for another few months, setting aside things I didn’t wear throughout the colder seasons to have cleaned and donate, and airing out some of my Springtime and Summer dresses and tops- I’ve made sure to keep a few flannels and knits on standby for what we call “False Spring” here in the Northeast.
It starts off innocently enough. We have a few days of sunshine, some warmer weather that when we step outside we’re immediately removing our jackets and exclaiming that Spring is finally here, and opening our car or apartment/house windows for a few hours each day to let the fresh air in.
And then without warning, it’s back to snow and frost- and we’re looking for our boots while angrily untying our sneakers and trying to find a scarf or a knit hat to wear again.
It happens every year, without fail, so I’m now prepared in my adulthood. But that doesn’t mean I have to keep wearing my usual dark and Earthy tones while I wait for real, actual Spring to arrive (and stay put!)

This pastel pink and very fuzzy sweater, with big and bright daisies printed all over the front, back and sleeves- is one of my favorites to wear throughout March and into the early days of April. It’s super soft, very comfortable, and absolutely keeps me warm when the temperatures dip down low every couple of days.
And it’s available on Amazon in a bunch of different colors!
I’ve been wearing this one with comfortable jeans and high-top sneakers on more casual days over the past couple of weeks, but it could definitely be paired with leggings or a longer skirt and flats if the weather and temperatures called for it.
But this sweater is going to remain in the wardrobe rotation through April, I’m sure- and I’ll likely be wearing at Easter in a couple of weeks since it’s the perfect color combination!
