Staying Hydrated with CorVive

This Summer, as I navigate my ongoing fitness journey through some of the hottest and most humid months out of the year- one of the things I need to continually remind myself of is that I need to drink enough water. Not only for the obvious “you need to stay hydrated to live” thing, but also because properly hydrating helps repair and refuel my body after a gym session, when I’ve spent any considerable amount of time outdoors, or when I stayed out a little too late the night before.

I don’t drink soda (I never have, actually! I don’t even know what many of the popular brands/types taste like!) and I try to avoid a lot of sports drinks that load up their products with extra sugars or additives that seem counterproductive to my living my best and healthiest lifestyle.

And even though Kool-Aid packets were the coolest thing to liven up water when I was a kid, it’s a bit different now that I’m in my thirties.

And it adds just enough flavor where you’re not overwhelmed. Out of the trio pack I received, I’m really loving the pomegranate and ‘Sour Apple’ flavors the most since I’m a big fan of fruit/citrus flavorings.

I’ve been keeping a few of these packets in my purse for when I’m done working out, getting things done at my office or am on-the-go in my car. They taste good, make my water feel a little more refreshing- and are a much better alternative to other flavoring methods that are just loaded withsugar or food coloring!
